A century later, a record rainfall has killed 134 people in India

India recorded the highest rainfall for over a century during the month of September, and during the current rains, 130 Indian citizens have been killed in various accidents so far, usually as many as four months of monsoon season. 

This time it has rained 9 percent more than it has recorded a century. 

According to the Indian Meteorological Department, it has broken all previous rainfall records.

So far, hundreds of people have been injured and killed in the devastating rains.
