Iranian president's brother arrested for corruption and sentenced to five years

Hussein Fardon, brother of Iranian President Hassan Rouhani, was arrested on corruption charges and sentenced to five years in prison. 

According to Iranian newspapers, Hussein Firdon was also arrested in 2017 on corruption charges, but he was released on immediate bail here.

 He was also reported at the time that he was released after paying $ 53.5 million.
